There is nothing to do in august, except being in vacation. It’s not the case for Microsoft folks who just released the August rollup for Windows 8.1/RT/Windows Server 2012 R2.
If we take a look at the related KB2975719, we will discover that’s it include improvements but also bug fix, one two of them is are related to DirectAccess :

KB2966087 : You intermittently cannot connect to the DirectAccess server by using the IP-HTTPS adapter in Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.

KB2984374 : Connect to incorrect entry point when Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2-based computer wakes from sleep or hibernate (Thank you Jason, I missed it)
So we have something to deploy in august. Don’t wait and update your DirectAccess clients
